वि.सं. २०७० देखि धादिङ जिल्लाभर अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको अधिकार, पुनर्स्थापना र सामाजिक समावेशीकरणका लागि क्रियाशील।
Disability Rehabilitation Society (DRSD), Dhading is a non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and non-profit organization, established in 2070 B.S. (2013 A.D.) on the initiative of persons with disabilities and their guardians.
It is registered with the District Administration Office, Dhading, and works throughout the district to advocate for the rights, rehabilitation and social inclusion of persons with disabilities.
अपाङ्गता पुनर्स्थापना समाज, धादिङ एक गैरसरकारी, गैर-धार्मिक, गैर-राजनीतिक र मुनाफारहित सामाजिक संस्था हो। यसको स्थापना वि.सं. २०७० सालमा अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्ति तथा तिनीहरूका अभिभावकहरूको अग्रसरतामा भएको हो।
यो संस्था जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय, धादिङमा विधिवत रूपमा दर्ता भई जिल्लाभर क्रियाशील छ।
Since its founding, the organization has worked on advocacy, capacity building, and economic empowerment through skill-based and vocational training, along with access to quality education, healthcare and assistive devices.
It promotes employment and self-employment, accessible infrastructure, awareness-raising, training and orientation so that persons with disabilities can lead self-reliant lives.
In coordination with local governments and other institutions, it works to implement the UN CRPD 2006, the Constitution of Nepal 2072, the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2074, the Regulation 2077 and other sectoral laws.
संस्थाले स्थापना कालदेखि नै अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको हक अधिकारका लागि पैरवी, क्षमता विकास, सीपमूलक तथा व्यावसायिक तालिम मार्फत आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण, गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य उपचार र सहायक सामग्री वितरणमा विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरू सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको छ।
साथै स्वावलम्बी जीवनयापनका लागि रोजगार तथा स्वरोजगार प्रवर्धन, पहुँचयुक्तता प्रवर्धन, जनचेतना अभिवृद्धि, तालिम र अभिमुखिकरण कार्यक्रमहरू सञ्चालन गरिरहेको छ।
स्थानीय सरकार तथा संघसंस्थासँगको समन्वयमा अपाङ्गता अधिकारसम्बन्धी महासन्धी २००६, नेपालको संविधान २०७२, अपाङ्गता अधिकार ऐन २०७४, नियमावली २०७७ लगायत कानुनी व्यवस्थाहरूको कार्यान्वयनमा भूमिका खेल्दै आएको छ।
